CHANGE OF USE: Plans for a coffee shop at the Old Lifeguard station (9770217)
A PROPOSAL to transform the Old Lifeguard Station, at The Promenade, Barry Island, has been lodged with Vale planners
The plan is to change of use of Bay 5 building, Barry Island Promenade, to a mixed A1/A3 coffee shop, with associated works including layout changes to the building, and works to align the external appearance of the building to a coffee shop function.
The Vale Council put leases for the Old Lifeguard Station and former tourist information centre out for tender earlier this year.
