Graduation for the children of KiddieWinkles

First published in News by

AT KiddieWinkles Childcare they held a special ‘Leavers Concert’ for all the children who were leaving the playgroup to go onto nursery in September. The concert was arranged by Alison Williams and Karen Jones from KiddieWinkles to end the summer term.

All the children worked hard and practised for weeks to make sure everything went well and even had beautiful hand designed t-shirts to wear on the special day.

The children invited their parents along and were all very brave to get up and perform. They assembled on the playgroup stage with Alison and Karen, wearing their lovely t-shirts and funky caps and did some ‘street dancing’ to Montel Jorden’s ‘This Is How We Do It’.

Everyone was really impressed by the dance moves and the children kept going throughout the whole song. Once they had finished they enjoyed a well deserved round of applause.

Everyone at KiddieWinkles would like to wish their leavers all the best of luck when they go to their new schools in September.

As the children were leaving KiddieWinkles, they made it extra special by holding a graduation where the children dressed up in full attire and were awarded a scroll and had their photos taken.

They currently have available spaces or children aged between 18months and five years to attend their playgroup sessions and lunch clubs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and they have a Breakfast Club for those aged three years and up.
