CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to three arrests last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 40 times during the week ending Sunday, August 10.
On Wednesday, August 6 one person was arrested on Main Street, Barry on a charge of theft.
On Friday, August 8 one person was arrested on Palmerston Road, Barry for theft and cultivating cannabis.
Also on Friday, August 8 on Jewel Street, Barry one person was arrested for theft and assault.
On Thursday, August 7 one person was issued with a fixed penalty notice on Holton Road, Barry for theft.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
