BARRY Coastguard got the call to back up the Llantwit Coastguard at Monknash beach after a man was hit by a rock cliff fall.
The incident on Friday, August 8, resulted in him suffering a blow to his head and suspected broken leg.
The Air Ambulance, unable to land on the beach, landed on the cliff in a field before the man was stretchered to the aircraft.
