TWO people have been rescued from a car that crashed through railings over train tracks.
The car smashed through railings on the corner of Park Avenue, Barry before coming to rest on the railway line embankment.
Firefighters released the casualties using hydraulic cutting equipment, before they were treated by paramedics.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called just before 1pm to the incident.
Roads surrounding the accident were closed temporarily causing tailbacks to traffic.
The vehicle was removed from the embankment using a winch and hydraulic cutting equipment.
