GOOD TIME: Members of the Friends and Neighbours group enjoyed a strawberry cream tea at their monthly meeting
MEMBERS of the Barry Friends and Neighbours group enjoyed their monthly meeting with a strawberry cream tea with Pimm's at Pioneer Hall, Beryl Road.
Well over 40 members and volunteers attended and new members were made welcome including two married couples. Entertainment was provided by Tenovus Choir. The theme of the afternoon was 'posh hats and frocks' and it was great to see so many of the ladies taking part with their hats, flowers and hair fascinators.
The group are now looking forward to a busy August programme with lunch at the Spinney, a mystery trip with lunch, and Hairspray at Barry Memorial Hall.
