VALE MP Alun Cairns recently welcomed a coach tour of constituents from Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan to Westminster to Parliament last week.

The group met the Vale MP Alun Cairns in Westminster Hall, before they were taken on a tour of the Houses of Parliament.

After completing the tour, the group were taken to the Grand Committee Room for a question and answer session with Mr Cairns, to learn more about Westminster. Alun Cairns shared some anecdotes of some humorous experiences.

Mr Cairns said: “I was absolutely delighted to invite local constituents to Westminster. The trip was very successful and I am organising more throughout the summer and autumn. It is always a privilege to show people around. If people are interested in attending, they should contact me at my Barry Office.

“It is always a pleasure to welcome people. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work in such a special place.
