BARRY’S greatest dancers are invited to share their fancy footwork in a charity dance off in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

DJ Callum James is urging people to take to the floor, at O’Brien’s pub, in Holton Road, in a sponsored dance inspired by the efforts of multi-million cancer charity fundraiser Stephen Sutton who captured the nation’s imagination earlier this year with his fundraising mission while terminally ill with the disease.

The Cardiff & Vale College student, of Windsor Road, Barry, said there would be a children’s event from midday to 6pm with guest Iggle Piggle and live DJ music and karaoke would run through until closing time.

There will also be raffles and competitions.

Callum, 18, said: “There have been a lot of people saying I’m in. It’s also to get myself known to people and start off my career.

“I’m hoping to get £1.4 million.”

Entry is by £1 raffle ticket or sponsor form.
