BARRY Court ward Councillor Richard Bertin is working with the Vale of Glamorgan Council to consider the future of bushes in one of the towns streets.

The Vale Council are to consult with residents of Anuerin Road on whether overgrown shrubs on the green are to stay or be removed – following health and safety concerns raised by locals.

Every Anuerin Road household will receive a letter asking for their views and will be balloted on what action they would like the local authority to take.

Local resident Gail Case says she would like the overgrowth removed completely to make the area safer.

Residents are expected to receive letters from the towns Parks Department within approximately six to eight weeks.
