CIDER fans will be able to enjoy a range of draught ciders from across the UK at a Barry pub's cider festival.

The Sir Samuel Romilly Wetherspoons pub, Barry will offer up to 25 ciders over 17 days, including some that have never previously been available at the pub and others produced exclusively for the festival.

The festival takes place from Friday, July 11 to Saturday, July 27 and will include award-winning apple, pear and fruit ciders, together with unusual flavours such as beetroot, rhubarb, ginger and chilli, apple and raspberry and whisky cask cider.

All ciders will be priced at £2.50 a pint.

Pub manager Jonathan Phillips said: "Cider is the perfect summer drink and I am certain that people will enjoy our fantastic selection.

"The ciders have been sourced from across the UK and there is something to suit all palates."

Tasting notes on all of the ciders will be available in the pub.
