A BARRY store has proved every little helps after raising a mammoth amount for a children’s cause.
Staff from Tesco, Highlight Park, and across the region, raised £1006.57 by taking part in a charity car wash, at Barry fire station, in aid of the retailer’s charity Valley’s Kids, on Sunday, June 22.
Staff hope the project will be completed in August.
The store also hosted a kids mini fete and raffles outside the premises on Saturday, June 21.
Tesco thanked the local fire officers for their support and Tesco customers in helping to raise money for a great charity.
