PUPILS at a Barry primary school discovered the Alan Titchmarsh side of themselves when they discovered how and where plants grow best.
Colcot Primary’s year 2 plants and animals topic saw the pupils visited by Mrs Huggins of Beautiful Lily, in High Street, where she taught them the names of a variety of flowers, the countries they grow in and that each month is represented by a different flower.
The children were able to choose from a selection of her flowers to create their own bouquets.
