A ONE-OFF Punk reunion dedicated to one of Barry’s most popular characters will be held at the Market Street club, in Barry, on Saturday, June 7.
Barry Town is hosting a 70s-style Punk reunion gathering with the night, now in memory of Chris Jones, known as Hedgehog, who died last week.
The event features awesome old school punk covers band Greazy Ratz who are a No frills pure,trashy raw fast punk cover band with tunes such as The Clash’s White Riot, the Sex Pistols’ Pretty Vacant, Dead Boys and more.
A punk DJ will play the best in 70s punk tunes.
Organiser, Steve Miller said: “Get out your old bondage and punk attitude and come rock the night away till midnight and maybe bump into some old friends.
“This is going to be the first punk gathering in years. Plus Barry town lost a top and well known character of Barry and nice guy of our town Hedgehog (Chris Jones).
“I am now dedicating this one off event to mine and Barry’s friend.
“It’s £6.50 on the door £2 of that will go towards sorting Hedgefest- a memorial event to our friend. Let’s make this a top night."
Doors open at 7.30pm. A Punk DJ will play from 9pm to 10.30pm with a DJ until midnight.
