THE headteacher and a group of parents are once again setting off on a mammoth bike ride to raise money for Llancarfan Primary School.
Following last year's 300 mile sponsored ride, headteacher Colin Smith and company will pedal 400 miles in four days around Wales hoping to top the £4000 raised previously.
Any money raised will be going to Llancarfan School and also Tros Gynnal Plant, Wales' leading children's rights charity.
One of the thirteen riders Alexander Rebhan said: "This year we have set an even bigger challenge; we are now going to ride 400 miles in four days the 'Tour de Galle'.
"The plan is to circumnavigate Wales, hills and all.
"Training has been hard for all of us especially the people who have only recently started riding. And juggling work and family life with the time to train is very difficult but we are all focused on the end goal."
