PUPILS from a Barry junior school made a repeat appearance at Barry’s former court site to cross-examine construction staff about their jobs.
Year 5 St Helen’s RC pupils conducted their interrogation interview the construction staff at the Thompson Street site currently being developed by Jehu Project Services Limited on behalf of Newydd housing association.
Pupils prepared questions beforehand, as part of their literacy project, and then in small groups put these questions to various building workers from Jehu and the companies working with them.
Children had the chance to put their questions to Darren, a bricklayer.
