A SAFETY Awareness Day will take place on the Barry Island’s promenade, from 10.30am to 4pm on Monday, May 5.
Barry Dock RNLI lifeboat education volunteers will give sea safety advice and hand out literature to families and individuals.
RNLI goods will be on sale and donations to support the lifesaving work of the Barry Dock lifeboat station
The RNLI roadshow trailer will be present as will a D class lifeboat.
Young people are invited to dress in a replica lifeboat kit and pose for photos by the boat.
