A BARRY nursery is having a day of activities open to parents looking for a pre-school place for their child.

Daisy Day Nursery in Barry is inviting parents to take a tour of the facilities, speak to members of staff and take part in activities and workshops alongside their children on Thursday, March 20.

Daisy Day Nursery provides a safe, clean and comfortable environment with an emphasis on healthy eating and learning through play for children aged nought to five.

The open day will run from 10am until 7pm on March 20 and staff will be happy to answer any questions parents may have. Parents are also encouraged to explore the nursery and facilities and get involved in the various activities taking place.

“At Daisy Day, we understand that it is important that parents feel part of their child’s development. For this reason, we are committed to keeping them informed through regular parents' evenings and focus groups, as well as a daily diary,” said Ceri Stokes, Manager of the Barry Nursery.

Nursery places are limited but any parents who choose to register their child within seven days of the event will receive a half price discount on the registration fee.
