FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Barry Weight Watchers donate items to the Vale Foodbank (4482342)
SLIMMING groups in Barry have raided their cupboards to provide a boost to the Vale Foodbank.
Members of the Barry Highlight Park and Beryl Road Weight Watchers groups donated unused food items, pet food and toiletries for people in need.
St Mary’s Church wardens Susan Borges and Gerry Bushen accepted the donation on behalf of the Vale Foodbank.
The Holton Road-based church will soon open from 2pm to 3pm on Fridays to receive and distribute donations.
