GUTTED: The wrecked attraction at Barry Island (4594665)
AN ATTRACTION at Barry Island has been completely destroyed by a fire.
South Wales Fire service were called to Paget Road at 1.13am on Thursday, March 13 where the water cannon game, adjacent to the children's ferris wheel, was ablaze.
The attraction has been devastated by the fire which also damaged the ferris wheel.
A spokesman for South Wales Fire said: "The area was made safe using metal fencing, and police tape.
"The site was left in the hands of South Wales Police, who decided that scene of crime officers were needed.
"The cause of the fire is currently unknown."
