HOLTON primary school has won a Vale Council anti bullying competition – bagging a £100 prize.
School council teacher, Sarah Rogers said: “The children gained a huge amount from the wide variety of activities they participated in throughout anti bullying week. A particular success was an anti bullying message wall that every child in the school contributed to. The school council worked very hard to put a booklet together to evidence the work that had taken place. The children are absolutely delighted to have won the first prize of £100 and to have had their hard work acknowledged."
Vale Council cabinet member for children’s services, Cllr Chris Elmore, who judged the competition, said: “What a fantastic achievement. I want to congratulate all the pupils from Holton Primary School as their hard work has paid off.”
