VALE AM Jane Hutt waded in with supporters all uniting hands in support of a Barry charity at Cardiff’s Roath Park Lake on Saturday, February 15.
The AM joined SAFE Foundation director Hannah Fitt, of Barry, for the Hands Around the Lake event on behalf of the pioneering charity which supports projects across the world involving young people from Wales.
The event involved crowds of people all holding hands around the lake to symbolise unity and continuity.
Barry Olympic swimmer David Davies, weather forecaster Derek Brockway and singer Charlotte Church all supported the event.
Hannah took over the human rights charity last year after her twin sister Lucy Dickenson was killed in a car crash while on a Zambian aid mission.
