TWO women were treated by ambulance crew after they were rescued from a blaze in Barry on Wednesday, February 12.
Firefighters led the women to safety, from a first-floor bedroom, after a fire broke out in a kitchen of a house in Westward Rise just before 4am.
Two fire crews from Barry attended and the women did not require hospital attention.
A Welsh Ambulance Services spokeswoman said: “We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, where two people were given a precautionary check-up.”
