Family History

Go on a step by step journey into your family history. Find out who your ancestors were, where they lived, where they worked and what life was like for them. Learn where to find old records and how to interpret them, find out how to research your own family history using a wide range of resources available in your local area and online.

Tutor Julie Daniel who has run family history courses for more than 20 years adds: "The great thing about family history is that everybody's family contains a rich tapestry of information about life in the past. No two people follow the same journey, it is always interesting and there are always some great stories to be discovered."

Join Julie for the first steps into your own personal family history on Fridays from 1pm 3pm at Murchfield Community Centre in Dinas Powys starting on March 7, for 15 weeks. Call Penarth Community Learning Centre on 029 2070 1569 for more information.
