THE Vale Council-led Barry Communities First, in partnership with Vale Adult and Community Learning, is running free fortnightly CV workshops at Barry Library to help jobseekers create their own CVs.
This workshop will show attendees how to plan and draft a CV to highlight their skills and experience, how to choose the best format to present information and how to tailor a CV for specific jobs. In addition to this time will be dedicated to creating a well written covering letter.
The next workshop will run 9.30am-1pm, Tuesday, February 4, and will run every other Tuesday.
Attendees must have a basic knowledge of how to use a computer.
