PUPILS at Barry Comprehensive School raised £300 for charity by sporting a seasonal look.
Students and staff dug out their best woollens to join in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day event.
School jumpers were decorated with tinsel, baubles and lights or swapped entirely for a woolly with a festive theme.
Participants had their photos taken in the Christmas Grotto and made donations to Save the Children.
A school spokesman said: “A huge thank you to Mr Piekielniak for organising an excellent event - a choir greeted staff in reception and sang for them at break-time.
"Also thanks to the art department for their festive bunting and to Mrs Edwards for constructing the grotto.”
