THERE was glitter and and fake snowballs all around the Nursery at Gibbonsdown Children's Centre as it prepared to entertain families at the Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 12.
More than 100 parents and friends attended the centre to hear their children sing Christmas songs, ably assisted by the centre staff.
Centre manager Gill Munro said: "It takes a lot of patience and hard work to get our two-year-olds to learn the songs and sit in front of a big audience, but the children were fantastic.
"There were lots of loud voices and enthusiasm from them. They didn't let us down.
"This has been a busy year for us, we have moved back to our beautiful newly refurbished building, established a Cylch Meithrin and continue to run an after-school club and holiday playscheme. We've been really busy - we're looking forward to a well-earned break over Christmas. Thank you to everyone who has supported us."
