ITEMS of distinctive jewellery are being sought by Barry police following a burglary in the town.

Access was gained to a semi-detached house on Conway Drive after a rear window was forced open some time between 8pm and 10.20pm on Tuesday, December 10.

Property stolen included a distinctive gold lady’s ring, a man’s Citizen wrist-watch featuring numbers around the watch face which illuminates and a yellow gold strap, a man’s yellow gold Tigers eye ring with a black stone and a man’s triple coloured yellow gold ring.

Detective constable Alison Fry, of Barry CID said: “The house is a semi-detached property on Conway Drive and was targeted while the occupant was not at home.

“A substantial amount personal effects were stolen and we are appealing to anyone who may have information about who was responsible to contact the police or Crimestoppers anonymously.”
