OWNERS of empty properties in the Vale are being offered up to £25,000 to bring them back into use.
Under the Welsh Government's Houses into Homes scheme, the Vale of Glamorgan Council is inviting owners to apply for an interest-free loan to pay for renovation work.
To apply for a loan, the property must have been empty for a minimum of six months.
Owners can apply for up to £25,000 per unit to carry out repairs or improvements to enable them to sell or let a property.
The maximum loan available per applicant is £150,000.
The repayment period will be determined by how the property will be used.
For further information about the Houses into Homes Scheme contact the council's empty property officer Georgina Wayman on 01446 709838.
