Sea View is staying put

THE SEA View Labour Club is staying put, and is still open for business - contrary to some confusion surrounding the venue's future.
Following plans for a possible re-location earlier this year, the club's management found that some regulars were under the impression that they had closed or were closing.
The plans to move to the Castle Hotel have been shelved for now and the owners want to make it clear that the Sea View is operating as usual.
Entertainment Secretary Karl Webb said: "We've had people come in the club and say they didn't know we were still open.
"We want to put the rumours to rest. The Sea View is still down on Dock View Road, that's where it is staying and it's business as usual."
The Sea View Labour club hosts bingo on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and live music on Saturday.
There are also two skittle alleys for use by local teams.
