A BARRY-BASED ballet school is celebrating student success.
English Youth Ballet performed Giselle at St David’s Theatre.
More than 300 dancers auditioned for a place and students trained for six hours a day for 10 days and 50 places were available.
School owner, Nicola Peros said: “Ballet Cymru held auditions for their second year offering training once a month alongside their ballet teacher.
“They held a performance at the end of the year with Central School London and Elmhurst in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet attending National Dance for Wales.
“Royal Ballet all offer associate programmes which are attended by hundreds of children around Wales and we are proud to be successful out of so many applicants.
“I would like to say congratulations to all my girls well done and for the parents who are totally behind them.”
