Girl group The Saturdays praise bravery of Rhoose lollipop lady

RHOOSE lollipop lady Karin Williams has been hailed as a “massive inspiration” by members of the girl group The Saturdays.
The girl group were speaking during the radio station Capital FM's breakfast show about the Pride of Britain Awards, after they were held on Monday, October 7, and the imminent birth of band mate Frankie’s baby.
The Saturday’s told Capital Breakfast presenters Matt Lissack, Polly James and Geraint Hardy that they were in awe of Rhoose Lollipop lady Karin Williams at the Pride of Britain Awards, where Karin was presented with the Outstanding Bravery Award.
Una Healy said she was 'in tears', while Mollie King said 'that was, for me, the story that got me the most'.
The band unanimously agreed that Karin was a hero and well deserved of the Outstanding Bravery Award.
Band member Rochelle Humes, who is also the wife of Capital DJ Marvin Humes, added: "Just the way she didn't think of herself and how it was a selfless act, she pushed the kids out of the way and jumped in front. I think she is a massive inspiration and the fact that she is gearing herself up to go back to her job is unbelievable."
