A BARRY & District News reader resisted the temptation to dig out the yellow paint after spotting a submarine in the Bristol Channel this month.
Paul Davenport, of Fontygary, captured, what is believed to be Dutch sub HNLMS Dolfijn from his garden on September 13 and 20.
Paul said: “I was very lucky to see it both times. It’s basically midway in the Bristol channel.
“It’s always nice to see something like that.
“I wasn't tempted to photoshop it yellow, but it’s a thought!
“The last shot was it returning back down the channel on September, 20 – I wouldn't want to be topside in that weather.”
