VALE MP Alun Cairns recently attended another successful fundraising party, arranged and hosted by the team at the Cadoxton Youth Project.
The Cadoxton Youth Project held an awareness and fundraising day at Barry Library and put the kettle on as part of the ‘Blooming Great Tea Party’ campaign to support Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Mr Cairns enjoyed a cuppa at the event and was able to chat with visitors and other charity stallholders at the successful day in the local library.
Mr Cairns said: “Rita and the team at the Cadoxton Youth Project do a tremendous amount of work throughout the year – not only for their own service users, but in making sure that they raise funds for other local good causes. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them for all their hard work.
“Every pound raised at the Blooming Great Tea Party will help Marie Curie nurses care for terminally ill people in Barry and the wider Vale area.”
