FAILURE of Vale council planners to determine a proposal to develop 140 dwellings in Wenvoe, has caused the planning Inspectorate to announce a public inquiry.
Redrow Homes South Wales submitted an appeal after the authority did not complete its duty to consider the residential plans with associated access, estate roads and public open space on land to the west of Port Road.
A public inquiry will be held at a date and venue to be determined.
Anyone wishing to make representations, to be taken into account by the inspector, should complete forms and send to The Planning Inspectorate, Crown Buildings, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ, quoting APP/Z6950/A/13/2197735.
Online representations can also be made via www.planningportal.gov.uk no later than Thursday, September 12.
