Barry Sea Cadets have bagged the support of Joes Chippy on The Parade in Dinas Powys. They have decided to contribute the money they collect from carrier bag charges to the Youth Charity and recently handed over a cheque for £232.
Lt (SCC) Paul C Phillips Commanding Officer of the Barry Sea Cadets said “Local support is very much appreciated by the volunteer instructors who work hard to provide a range of activities for our Cadets. Without such support we would not be able to provide activities such as canoeing and sailing and trips away”
Mr Sazili said “ We know that the local children really enjoy the activities provided by the Sea Cadets in Barry and are glad to be able to support their work in a small way”
Barry Sea Cadets parade on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and can be contacted by e-mail at barryseacadets@gmail.com
