THE memory lane project, which was on display at Barry Central Library until March 9, has caused lots of interest across all ages with many people coming to read the memories and look at the associated pictures.

On Friday, March 8, everybody who participated in the project were invited to the Barry Central Library to see the display.

This was then followed by a selection of cakes and refreshments.

The forum was delighted that Alun Cairns MP, Jane Hutt AM, AM for South Wales Central David Melding, Vale Champion Cllr Stuart Egan and Andrew Regan from the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales were able to attend and give their support to this project.
