Police appeal after three injured in Dinas Powys RTC

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision at around 3.55pm on Saturday (January 12) in Dinas Powys, which left three members of the same family injured.
The incident happened on Millbrook Road near the junction with Eastbrook Close, when a 65-year-old woman, 68-year-old man and 38-year-old man - all pedestrians - were hit by a red Seat Ibiza car.
The vehicle was being driven along Millbrook Road towards the direction of Cardiff Road by a 21-year-old man from the local area.
The three injured people were taken to hospital, where the woman and man in their 60s are being treated for head injuries.
The road was closed for some time whilst police carried out initial investigations and recovered the vehicle. South Wales Police would like to thank the people affected by the closure for their patience.
Another silver vehicle was seen to travel along Millbrook Road at the time of the incident and police would like to trace the vehicle and its driver.
They also want to speak to any person who witnessed the collision or who stopped to provide assistance, or anyone who may have seen the pedestrians or the vehicle being driven prior to the collision, and who has not yet given their details.
