BARRY based artist Bernard van Lierop is showing prints of Dyffryn Gardens at the Travellers Gallery, Platform 1, Barry Station, Broad Street, Barry CF62 7AE, from January 14 to March 7, open Monday to Friday, mornings only.

Bernard's prints were made when he and other members of VOGA (Vale of Glamorgan Artists) shared an artists' residency at Dyffryn Gardens in 2009-11.

The prints show Dyffryn's changing colours, apart from one large black and white linocut. This shows Dyffryn's tiny Pompeian garden filled with many of the sculptures found elsewhere in the grounds.

Bernard has also included Cardiff's 1906 monument to John Cory, who rebuilt Dyffryn, and one of the workers who made John Cory rich, represented by the miner in Cardiff Queen Street, sculpted by the late Robert Thomas.

The Travellers in Mind Cafe/Gallery is a work experience project, run by Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan for people recovering from mental health problems.

Travellers' exhibitions programme is jointly organised by Mind in the Vale (www.mindinthevale.org.uk) and VOGA (www.voga.org.uk)
