TY Hapus is a charity based in Barry founded by Justine Pickering to raise awareness and to help younger people with dementia to receive care and therapies, and to spend time with others in similar condition.

It was Cymdeithas Gymraeg Dinas Powys Welsh Society’s chosen charity for 2012.

After a very successful fundraising evening in the company of Côr Bechgyn Bro Taf, and following their annual Christmas service at St Peter’s Church, it was with delight that the Society presented Justine and David Pickering and their daughter Coco with a cheque for £2,200.

The Society applauds the work done by Ty Hapus and wishes them every success in the future.
