A BARRY photographer with an eye for the town's beauty has produced a seasonal calendar which has found its' way as far as China!

Dad-of-two Callum Hamilton produced the unique Christmas must-have for 2013 after his photograph and card customers insisted the town deserved a season-by-season recording which would sit nicely on an office or living-room wall.

Callum's images focus on Barry Island, The Knap, and Porthkerry and Romilly Parks at various times throughout the year.

Callum, 47, of Canon Street, said his favourite images appear in October and in January when snow lay on The Knap beach.

He said: "I'd never seen anything like that and I liked that I was able to point a camera on something that was unfamiliar to me.

"I have always liked the fact that the longer I have been here the more I appreciate what lovely countryside and coastal scenery Barry has."

Ann Gwillam, owner of Gifted, on High Street, Barry, said: "I've been nagging Callum for three years to do it.

"People have been asking for a calendar.

"We have been selling them since July and people have sent them to Australia and Canada and one has gone to China."

The calendar costs £9.99 and is available from Gifted, High Street, Barry, Forest CafŽ, Porthkerry Park, and on eBay.
