THE next Enfys Craft Fair will take place at St. Ffrancis Millennium Hall, Park Road, in Barry, on Saturday, November 4.

There are just the two fairs before Christmas so it pays to shop local early.

Don’t miss them as there are so many beautiful and unusual gifts to be found at Enfys Craft Fair that cannot be found elsewhere.

The fair has free entry and is open from 10am to 4 pm.

Enfys’ chosen charity for October is Action Medical Research, which saves lives through research, beating the diseases that devastate the lives of so many children across the world.

Successes include protecting children from polio since 1962; developing the use of ultrasound in pregnancy; the importance of taking folic acid in pregnancy to prevent spina bifida; testing the early rubella vaccine, introduced in 1970; developing the Glasgow coma scale for head injuries, now used around the world; helping protect children from meningitis since 1993; supporting the invention of a revolutionary artificial bone that grows.

Action Medical Research relies on the generosity of people who are willing to donate.

Ann’s Kitchen has been adding new mouth-watering dishes to her menu each month.

Come along and taste her delicious and reasonably priced food.

Many supporters of Enfys come especially for their lunch.

New and old friends are welcome to attend.
