IRELAND rocker Imelda May will return to the UK for her first tour in three years, with a show at St David's Hall, Cardiff, on Friday, May 5.

Imelda’s fifth album Life Love Flesh Blood is due for release in March. The album will feature blues, soul, gospel, folk, rock and acoustic to create a new sound for Imelda.

Plus, these songs (including her new single Call Me) contain personal and autobiographical lyrics.

Featuring guest appearances on the album including long-time admirers Jeff Beck and Jools Holland.

She said: “I always loved the 50s rockabilly style, but there was a point where I felt I was almost dressing up as Imelda May. It was as if I was getting into character for a gig. And I didn’t want to do that anymore. This is me. I’m so proud of this album and can’t wait to bring it out on the road to you.”

Tickets cost £25 and £35, plus a £3.95 ticket service charge per transaction and an optional 95p postage fee.

A limited number of VIP packages are available costing £95, including £35 ticket.

Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
