VALE of Glamorgan band Black Jam Circus are preparing to launch their debut album with a performance in Barry.

The album which has been released on their website, blackjamcircus.com and hard copies, will have its official launch on Friday, February 3, at the Barry Island Sports and Social Club.

Their self-titled album features 15 original tracks produced by Paul O Kelly at St Paul Studio.

Black Jam Circus is made up of seven brothers who have been working with a travelling circus, until now.

The album is an eclectic mix of pop, rock, reggae, punk and funk and the songs are based on real life experiences of its band members.

The album is available to download via their website or purchase hard copies from Chimera Tattoo Emporium, Holton Road, Barry or Barry Music Shop.

To see the band perform tracks from their new album, head to the Barry Island Sports and Social Club with doors opening at 7.30pm.
