ST DAVID'S Hall has announced details of their January line-up which starts on Friday, January 6.

Classic rock show, Vampires Rock: Ghost Train, will kick-off 2017 on the Friday, followed on Saturday, January 7, with Beyond the Barricade which is for anyone who is a fan of Les Miserables.

Then later in the month will be Soul Legends on Friday, January 13, with special guest Clem Curtis reliving the music of James Brown, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson and others.

Next up, will be acoustic guitarist Tommy Emmanuel on Saturday, January 14, who will be performing pieces from his album, It's Never Too Late.

Shortly after, as part of the Roots Unearthed series, will be Spiro on Tuesday, January 17.

On Friday, January 20, the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales will deliver a programme of Bruckner and Mahler.

Comedian Miles Jupp will bring his observational stand-up to the hall on Tuesday, January 24 with his Sons of Freedom tour and comic Stephen K Amos will stop in the L3 Lounge for his World Famous show on Thursday, January 26.

Before the World Famous show though will be tribute band, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac on Wednesday, January 24, packing nearly five decades of classics in their Hits to Blues set.

Ending the week will be Lord of the Dance from Friday, January 27 to Sunday, January 29.

The show has entertained audiences over the last 20 years and its instalment Dangerous Games will be performed for four shows.

Near the end of January will be Some Guys Have All The Luck on Monday, January 30, which features the songs of Rod Stewart including Sailing, Maggie May and more.

Bringing the month to a close will be two performances.

Firstly on Tuesday, January 31, will be Welsh Singer 2016 winner Sioned Gwen Davies performing an array of English, American and French cabaret songs in a Lunchtime Concert, which will be followed in the evening by the Capital City Jazz Orchestra.

They will be joined by the internationally renowned Lee Gibson for another evening of jazz and swing.
