ONE of the most successful and popular children’s books of all time, The Cat in the Hat, comes to Cardiff this half-term from Friday, February 19 to Sunday, February 21.

The play, based on the book by Dr Seuss, is full of towering hats, mischief and fun.

From the moment his tall, red and white striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat they have ever met. He turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure, but the children still have to prepare for mum to come home.

The Cat in the Hat is a lively and engaging theatre experience for young children aged three and up and their families. Originally produced by the National Theatre of Great Britain, the original show was adapted and directed by Katie Mitchell.

The Cat in the Hat is at the New Theatre this half-term. Tickets are on sale now ranging from £8.50 to £12.50 - bookings are subject to a Ticketing Service Charge, exemptions apply.
