THE next Enfys Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, September 5, at St Francis Millennium Hall, Park Road.

Entrance is free so come along between 10am and 4pm and enjoy wandering around and viewing the amazing crafts and then enjoy a hot drink and a cake.

The charity for September will be Action Medical Research (for children) - saving their lives through medical research, beating the diseases that devastate the lives of so many children.

In the UK today there are hundreds of thousands of sick and disabled children who need help. The charity has over 230 top researchers working on over 75 projects across the UK.

Successes of the charity include protecting children from polio since 1962; developing the use of ultrasound in pregnancy; the importance of taking folic acid in pregnancy to prevent spina bifida; testing the early rubella vaccine, introduced in 1970; developing the Glasgow coma scale for head injuries, now used around the world; helping protect children from meningitis since 1993; supporting the invention of a revolutionary artificial bone that grows.

At the fair you can buy painted cards that can be personalised for that special friend, wedding day or anniversary. Any event can be catered for with personalised details in gold italic writing on each individually designed card.

Buy beautiful wooden items made by Reg. You can find a gift that will be special for anyone, especially for yourself of course, jewellery, fabric crafts, paintings, cushions, knitted toys and cakes, bread, jams and chutneys.
