FOLLOWING the critically acclaimed stage adaptation of The Perfect Murder by Peter James last year, a new show of his number one novel Dead Simple will be performed at the New Theatre, Cardiff.

Dead Simple is his bestselling and most famous book and will be performed with an all-star cast from Tuesday, June 2 to Saturday 6.

Michael Harrison seemingly has it all: great career, good friends and a beautiful fiancée. Things take a turn for the worse, though, when a failed stag night prank leaves him alone and staring death in the face. Detective Superintendent Roy Grace is brought in to solve Michael’s mysterious disappearance, but time is quickly running out. It’s a chilling thriller with all the classic suspense, twists and turns that fans love and come to expect from Peter James novels.

Directed by Olivier Award-winner Ian Talbot, the play boasts an all-star cast that includes Tina Hobley (Holby City, Coronation Street), Gray O’Brien (award-winning star of Coronation Street, Peak Practise, Casualty), Jamie Lomas (EastEnders, Hollyoaks), Rik Makarem (Emmerdale, Torchwood) and Michael McKell (Doctors, Emmerdale).

International bestselling crime thriller novelist Peter James has sold over 15 million books of his Roy Grace series, and is published in 36 languages.

The author, Peter James, will also hold a Q&A session on the opening night. Entry is free to all ticket holders for the opening night performance.

Tickets cost from £9.50 to £31 (bookings are subject to a £2.95 Ticketing Service Charge, exemptions apply).
