ON Saturday, November 1 there will be a chance for everyone to grab a bargain at the fayre held at St Paul’s Church Hall, Barry.

The Fayre will be packed with goods all at the low prices for which the Churches of St Paul’s and Merthyr Dyfan are well known. Stalls will include Christmas gifts, books, CD’s and DVD’s, homemade cakes, toys, bottle stall, jewellery, home produce, jams, and Christmas and birthday cards. There will be a grand prize draw with a £50 cash prize, drinks hamper and many more prizes.

Admission to the Fayre for children is free, and for adults it is just £1.

St Paul’s Church Hall is in St Paul’s Avenue, Barry and doors open at 2pm. Refreshments, including homemade cakes, tea and coffee will be on sale.

All proceeds are in aid of the continuing work of St Paul’s Church, the First Anglican Church built for the new town of Barry, and the ancient Parish Church of Merthyr Dyfan in Merthyr Dyfan Lane, Colcot, Barry. Also this year the churches are supporting the Barry food bank in St Mary’s Church for those families who are greatly in need.
