Putting on The Family Style

AN Italian blues band - The Family Style Band - are playing a gig at Abertillery's The Met next Thursday night.

Hailing from a small town near Milan and formed in 1994 by guitarist Marco Limido, they are a real family band.

Together with younger brother Franco Limido (who recorded with Robert Palmer) on vocals and harmonica, cousin Davidi Bianchi on bass and the Gigi Biolcati on drums, The Family Style launched themselves on to the world's blues circuit.

Family Style have made many friends during their tours in recent years and are celebrating their 10th anniversary around Europe with concerts in Belgium, Holland, Poland, England, France, Italy, Switzerland and, last but not least, Abertillery.

The Family Style Band will be performing at The Met, Abertillery on Thursday, April 10 at 8pm.

Tickets cost £12.50 or £10 for Blues Club Members and they are available from the box office on 01495 355800.
