SUPPORT act for Rob Brydon’s sell-out tour last year, Chris Corcoran now brings his own show to Cardiff’s Sherman next Friday night.
Corcoran supported good friend Brydon on the tour which included five nights at the Wales Millennium Centre.
Lifting the lid on Welsh culture, his show ‘What Goes on Tour Stays on Tour’ showcases his cheeky, chatty stand-up style.
As a relative newcomer to comedy, the former schoolteacher has quickly established himself on the comedy circuit, performing all over the country, at clubs including The Comedy Store, Jongleurs and The Glee.
In 2004, Corcoran made his Edinburgh Festival debut when he performed his hilarious show ‘The Welsh Assembly’ with a Daily Mirror reviewer calling him "a funny, funny man".
He features alongside housemate and fellow comedian Rod Gilbert on their weekly BBC Radio Wales show of comedy and banter and also presents CBeebies arts show Doodle.
Corcoran is at the Sherman on Friday at 8pm.
Tickets cost £12 (reductions £10) and can be booked from the box office on 029 2064 6900 or www.shermancymru.co.uk
